About This Game You wake up looking at the cell and trying to remember a dream you have seen last night. There are only vague memories in your head - It was something connected with the cosmos and with the frightened astronaut's face. You have no time to think - you have to go to the work. There you create a perfect simulations of a human, called Molds. So your journey through the parks, cemeteries, suburbs and dreams begins. Your adventure is in the City where the sun never sets. It's a surreal mix of classical visual novels, odd choices, cyberpunk, mysticism and everyday life of a man lost in a rapidly changing reality. I sat and spoke with the statue of Lady Alanis for the entire duration and then it just ended with us looking at the moon with a very vague story. I thought I would be able to proceed after our discussion but no, this was not the case. The verbiage is clearly written by a foreigner as a lot the writing required decyphering.. Trading Cards.- No Achievements.. Weird game. A renpy visual novel with not-the-best translation from Russian. The story is about a guy who lives in a domed futuristic city and makes holographic AI reconstructions of people as a day job. The city appears to be manipulated around him in his personal life, so it's hard to tell what's reality and what's not. The stories are varied but sometimes hard to follow due to the poor sentence structure. I don't see any deeper literary meaning, so I guess it's a slice-of-life exploration into insanity or the nature of personal reality? Each playthru is <30 minutes. There seem to be maybe 8~12 endings. Good idea with not-so-good execution. Still, it has a degree of charm to me. Hopefully this review helps you decide if you'd like to try it. In future I would like the author to write more and to improve the English translation.. i dont like it. I would hope it reads better in russian, spanish or chinese. If I was reading a book that started like this I would throw through the moon door.. So here's my review after finishing (a branch of) this VN after 34 minutes, with an abrupt end literally saying "loading diskette B. Fatal error." and then dumps you in the main menu. Guess this game is grossly unfinished? From what I read there are some interesting plot points put up. What happened to the world. Why is the moon so important, why did the night go away, what mysterious work does the player do, who are the people behind the mysterious message, is the player going crazy or is there really something strange going on with his surroundings? But as stated, it disruptly ends everything, telling you just go make a few other choices. If all are as unfinished as mine, I don't see the point really. Now that we've got the good stuff out of the way let's go to the bad. Which there is a lot of. The most grievous and harming has to be the absolutely broken translation. While the overall story sounds interesting the text itself is barely readable in most cases. Then there are the graphics, SFX and music, which are all really bad. REALLY bad. Add ontop of that a protagonist which doesn't seem to be clearly defined (he heavily hammers on being a loner, then there's a whole section where he asks people to actually visit him). And as stated the story being unfinished leading literally nowhere being all questions and no answers.Unless this game gets some serious added content, a total pass-over in the text department I definitely don't recommend it. I can even forgive the bad GFX and SFX... probably.
