This has the potential to be a very good game. My biggest problem is that it takes so long to be able to do anything in the game. The fun part of the game is making elaborate traps for the civilians but to be able to get to that point you have to grind for literally hours. I think the developers need to go back and look at rebalancing the numbers a bit. You barely have any time to work on your mansion between waves of civilians but you need the food so skipping a day doesn't work as well. I know that one of the devs ended up in the hospital right after release and I hope that he is doing fine now. I just hope that they will keep updating the game and as a quicker pace. I honestly think that they should have released this game in early access because it has the potential to be a great game but it needs some work. The updates to this game is slow, the price is awful it should at least be $15 or even sadly $10 since it's still early access. I can see this ending up in early access hell just because it doesn't seem like the devs are really trying to push out updates to make this game better. it can get a good 2 hours and you pretty much beat the game if you figure it out with ease. It's very easy understanding game and it has a somthing other's don't have which is actually managing a haunted house! It'll be a no for me untill I see more updates come out... Rimworld with a dark Theme.Lure your victims to your dark mansion and eat them!. This is a great game and I predict that it will be my new obsession.If you are anything like me, you like dungeon keeper, overlord or anything that puts you into a role of a evil overlord an if you are also reaaally like me you like the idea of Rimworld but you hate its UI or the graphics that genuinely looks like somebody did it on Paint unlike cute and easy to look at graphics this game has.This game takes good parts of Rimworld, makes it better with more sense of dark humor and makes you fall in love with it.I recommend it, just buy it. You won't regret it.. A fun little game.Cuter and lighter than Rimworld with some dark humorThe Good:- The art style- The macabre humorThe Bad:- controls take a bit of getting used to- the job prioritisation could do some work (note havent played the electrocution update yet). I loved the idea of the game. It was not a great buy for me. There were a lot of bugs, not great explanations. Also I was always running out of food or supplies. Humans seemed to be coming all the time. Could never get a head. Game was in turn infuriating.. Neat game but infuriating bugs and poor documentation. The concept itself is very good. A management game with lots of dark humor, a good presentation, and a nice visual style. However the game is so plagued with bugs that you spend most of your time finding a way arround the bugs, instead of actually having fun.Still, you put up with the bugs and play. Then suddenly you have to start over again because your saved game became corrupted (due to yet another bug) and you lost all your progress. There goes 10, 20, XX, hours of your time down the drain.Updates are very few and far between. And there is no roadmap or even an updated change log to at least learn what has been fixed in the beta branch (yes, this "fully released" game still has a beta branch), or when will the changes in beta be applied to the main branch. So its very hard to have patience and hope that the game will be fixed and you will be able to enjoy it.The bottomline: Its a damn shame. This game could be awesome! Instead its just a nearly unplayable, poorly updated bugfest for wich there is no date in sight of when (or even if) it will be fixed and made playable.Certainly NOT worth the asking price. Dont waste your money.. Ya the game is fun but once a fire starts you might as well restart. Why do my minions have to light on fire to try and extinguish a fire? Tone down the brutality of fires and your minions having a constant debuff if they are hurt just a little.
